Meet Dr. Richard Haley
“Helping others is not an obligation, but instead a privilege. I am grateful to God and my family for providing me with the education, motivation, and opportunity to do so. My life and that of my loved ones have been enriched through serving my fellow man, and I hope to inspire others to do the same.” – Dr. Haley
Dr. Richard Haley has practiced dentistry in the Carrizo Springs community for more than 25 years, a time that has been extremely rewarding to him both personally and professionally. Dr. Haley finds satisfaction in providing dental health for his patients with the future in mind, and takes pride in seeing patients and families returning to him for their care.
Education and Continuing Education
- Bachelor of Arts, Psychology – UT Austin/UT San Antonio

- Adjunct Clinical Faculty – UTHSC San Antonio Dental School, 1997 to present
To keep his diagnostic and clinical skills up to date, Dr. Haley has completed more than 12 hours of continuing dental education annually since 1991. This provides him the opportunity to keep abreast of the latest and newest trends and updates in dentistry so that he can continue to provide his patients with the best care possible, all the while keeping their financial ability in mind.
Outside the Office
Dr. Haley has been married to Raquel Haley for 21 years. They have been blessed with three daughters, Victoria, Caroline, and Catherine, all of whom graduated from Carrizo Springs High School, and a stepdaughter, Leslie, who lives with her family in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Home with his family is where Dr. Haley can be found most of the time, except for when he is enjoying golf with his daughter Victoria and his regular golf buddies. Dr. Haley enjoys being outdoors, including yardwork, then relaxing while grilling fajitas for his family.
Besides raising his daughters to be productive, respectful members of the community, Dr. Haley strives to encourage youth to educate themselves in order to enrich not only their lives but of the community as a whole. He works to inspire others to achieve their goals as his family did for him, something that is constantly on his mind as he interacts with his patients and families.
